Antalya city tour with waterfalls and cable car is a full-day informative trip that lasts for 8 hours. In the day, you will see Duden Waterfalls flowing to the sea. After that, you’ll explore the old town of Antalya. It’s like stepping back in time with its old buildings and narrow streets.

Next, you’ll hop on a cable car and ride it up to Olympos. You can see the whole city and the coastline stretching out into the distance. It’s a bit like flying, but without leaving the ground.

In 2024, Antalya city tour with waterfalls & cable car is €45 per adult. Children between 4 – 11 years old are €30 and children under 4 are free.

Price includes hotel transfer, lunch, Olympos cable car ride and guiding service.

Important Info & Timing

Bring With You – Don’t forget to pack suncream and sunglasses for your trip. It’s also a good idea to bring some cash for drinks, as they’re not included in the tour. Wear comfortable clothes, and consider bringing extra attire with you just in case.

Departure Time – Pick-ups are scheduled in the morning between 08:00 and 09:00. After you book your tour, we’ll inform you of your specific pick-up time based on your hotel location.

Tour Program

08:30 Pick-up

We offer pick-up service from hotels in Antalya, Belek, and Kemer between 08:00 and 09:00. Once you book, we’ll let you know your exact pick-up time.

We use minibuses or buses with air conditioning, depending on the number of bookings from each location.

Our tour guides are licensed by the Ministry of Tourism and speak English, German, and Russian fluently. They’ll ensure you have an enjoyable and informative tour experience.

10:00 Cable Car

After driving for about an hour, your first stop will be Olympos cable car.

Your guide will give you a quick briefing when you arrive. Then, you can take a ride to the top of the mountain. You’ll have around 30 minutes to explore and enjoy some refreshments up there.

You’ll find restaurants, cafeterias, and tea houses available, along with tower viewers to admire the beautiful scenery. Afterwards, you’ll come back down to the ground using the cable car.

Olympos cable car is 4359 meters long and reaches an altitude of 2365 meters. Each ride takes around 11 minutes, and each cabin can accommodate up to 80 people.

12:30 Lunch

Following the cable car, you’ll head over to Urfa Lezzet Sofrası restaurant in the Lara area for lunch. This authentic Turkish eatery offers a variety of meal options:

  • Chicken shish served with salad, rice, and french fries.
  • Kabab accompanied by salad, rice, and french fries.
  • Pide, a Turkish-style pizza, served with salad, rice, and french fries.

For vegetarians, there’s the option of pide with cheese & tomato, served alongside salad, rice, and french fries.

It’s important to note that drinks are not included and can be purchased separately at regular prices. As this restaurant caters more to locals than tourists, drink prices are not expensive.

14:00 Lower Duden Waterfall

Our next destination is the Lower Duden Waterfall, also referred to as Karpuzkaldıran Waterfall, situated in Duden Park.

Here, you’ll witness the waterfall plunging 40 meters into the sea. You’ll have approximately an hour to explore the surroundings.

At the park, you’ll find an observation terrace and tower viewers providing up-close views of the waterfall. You can capture unforgettable moments with stunning photographs or opt for a photographer to immortalize your memories on magnets. Additionally, there’s a souvenir shop and cafeteria available for your convenience at Duden Park.

15:00 Antalya Old Town (Kaleiçi)

Your next destination is Antalya’s charming old town, Kaleiçi, where you’ll embark on a one-hour guided walking tour led by your tour guide. During this relaxed stroll, you’ll explore several historical sites, each with its own story:

  1. Hadrian’s Gate: This monumental gate was built to honor the Roman Emperor Hadrian.
  2. Clock Tower: A significant landmark dating back to the Ottoman era, serving as a symbol of Antalya.
  3. Antalya Ethnographic Museum: Step into the past as you explore this historic house showcasing the lives of Kaleici residents during the Ottoman period.
  4. Sehzade Korkut Mosque: Discover the fascinating history of this site, once a Roman temple and later transformed into a Byzantine church.
  5. Ancient sewage system of Kaleiçi: Gain insight into the engineering marvels of antiquity.
  6. Castle of Kaleici and its ancient harbor: Explore the remnants of this ancient fortress and its harbor, offering glimpses into Antalya’s rich maritime history.

This won’t be a hurried tour of Kaleici; instead, it’s an informative sightseeing walk with plenty of opportunities for photographs along the way.

16:30 Free Time in Kaleiçi

After the guided tour, you’ll have 1 hour and 15 minutes to freely explore the charming cobbled streets of Kaleici and indulge in some shopping at its traditional shops. Here, you’ll find a variety of souvenirs, spices, crafts, jewelry, as well as cafes and restaurants.

For those less interested in shopping, Kaleici offers a rich history to discover. You can explore museums, mosques, and churches such as:

Museums:

  • Antalya Toy Museum: Featuring toys dating from the 1860s to the 1990s.
  • Dervish Lodge Museum: Showcasing the Sufi belief system and the life of Dervishes.
  • Marine Biology Museum: Home to various fish species and marine life.
  • Suna & İnan Kıraç Kaleiçi Museum: Providing insights into traditional Turkish lifestyle.

Once your free time is up, we’ll gather again at Republic Square where your tour guide will be waiting for you. From there, you’ll be taken back to your hotels.

Are there any limitations for guests with disabilities?

We try to help everyone, but walking might be hard for those in wheelchairs or who find walking difficult. If walking is tough for you, let us know early, and we can plan a private city tour for you.

Can guests bring food or drinks?

You can’t eat or drink in the bus. But you can bring your own snacks or meals for breaks or free time.

What clothes should I wear?

We advise wearing comfy shoes for walking and bringing extra layers for changing weather. Keep in mind, it gets colder at the summit during the cable car ride than at ground level.

Are restroom facilities available during the tour?
